Developing a British Brand

We were recently approached by Gumleaf Clothing to help manage their online marketing and shape their brand identity. Delighted to be working alongside this discerning, luxury wellington boot company, our team got to work refining the respected British brand.

As a full service agency, we are in the fortunate position to be able to evaluate and improve every area of a businesses presence. With Gumleaf, we carried out a brand evaluation and site audit before suggesting improvements that would not only benefit the style of the brand, but also provide a great return on investment for them.

Gumleaf wellington boots stickerStarting out with the logo, our in-house graphic designers ensured the brand stood out from the competition by implementing a midnight navy instead of the green that is so dominant in their sector.

This colour scheme and logo was then introduced to the website and social media platforms to produce a cohesive brand identity. When it came to packaging, our designers sourced a historic map of Dilham to emphasise that Gumleaf is a brand with an enviable heritage.

Our SEO team also lent their copywriting services to ensure that the website performs well in Google and that any PPC advertising will offer a positive and sustainable conversion rate.

The result of all this work was that online sales increased by 39% in a single year, with no additional marketing spend. The sales conversion rate has increase by 22% alone since the rebrand, proving that brand identity is a key factor when marketing a premium product. The remaining increase has come from optimised campaigns and continually increasing social media platforms, with audience numbers and interactions increasing considerably.
