A website to move you

It’s no secret that we’re huge advocates of employee welfare here at Nu Image. But what you may not know, is that over the past couple of years we have been partnering with a close friend of ours, Kate, who teaches us yoga.

It’s no secret that we’re huge advocates of employee welfare here at Nu Image. But what you may not know, is that over the past couple of years we have been partnering with a close friend of ours, Kate, who teaches us yoga. We have the luxury of dropping into her Monday classes if we fancy a stretch or a wind down after work, and sometimes she even comes to pay us a visit here in our studio. We move the desks, roll out our mats, and vinyasa flow baby.

Kate’s practices have been a big part of why we’ve all been feeling so darn good here at Nu Image and probably why when the going gets tough in the studio, we can ride it out with a clear head on our shoulders. Her patience and guidance in how to move our bodies with strength and confidence has been a real asset to everyone in our team not just in the physical sense, but mentally too. Kate’s classes remind us to slow down a bit, work within our own limitations safely whilst encouraging growth and confidence. Ahhh she’s good.

Making new moves

Until recently, Kate has been operating without a website to support her business. Being as laid back as she is, she has so far been taking bookings through a more casual means and has not particularly pushed an online presence other than her socials.

So, guess what? We gave her a hand, and we built her a website!

For the first time Kate has the facility to take online bookings for not just her yoga classes but her massage therapy treatments as well. We hope that having a sophisticated online destination for people to learn more about Kate and her wonderful work will encourage more people to book onto a session. An easy to use drop down form has been implemented to allow all yogis to get in touch and book onto their chosen sessions and get in touch with any questions.

Kate wrote her own copy and it’s fantastic. This site really is all about her and we wanted it to be as organic and honest as possible because that is what makes Kate Kate. The result is really special and anyone reading it gets a real insight not only into her practice but her character, her ethos and her journey.

The website might have a functional purpose, but for Kate it was more than that. It was a bit of a journey of the self, a rediscovery perhaps. She said her new website was a “recognition of where I am, who I am, what matters…”

Building Brand Consistency

Our Studio Admin, Jess, has been busy again. She’s the glue that keeps us all together but, as some of you may know by now, she’s also an incredible illustrator with a particular niche in patterns and plants. The shabby chic, rustic looking leaves that you see arching and bowing across the pages? Yeah, Jess created all of those by hand. Her beautiful sketches are a running theme throughout the site, creating a steady flow and relationship between the pages. You could say this is representative of Kate’s mantra of the natural connectivity between mind and body or perhaps an echo of the flow of movements explored in her classes… or is that a bit of a stretch?… Jokes aside, we really did aim to present something that encapsulated Kate and her lifetime dedicated to her practice. And we think we’ve achieved it.

Like what you’re seeing? We can create something really awesome for you too. Make that first step, and get in touch. We are passionate about turning your vision into reality and helping tell your story. Your story could be next.
