We began with conducting a full website audit, both in terms of SEO and usability. We began by editing the existing on page and off-page content to make it all SEO friendly, with key words throughout to ensure the user could find the relevant things quickly and easily.
Using the knowledge gained from these audits, we quickly realised that the user journey was not as smooth as it could have been. We therefore simplified the user journey throughout the sight, one of the main ways in which we achieved this was a simple yet effective change to the call to actions.
We made the call to actions all consistent in colour. This seems like a small change, but the overall effect was enormous. The result means that any users can easily see where the call to actions are on the page, improving the user journey for them, and maximising conversions for The Waveney River Centre.
